Sunday Afternoon

It's so wonderful to be able to capture these wonderful moments together. Having family close is also soo wonderful. I am so used to being behind the camera. So to be able to have these pictures together is amazing. I love taking pictures with my little princess. Thank you Daddy!

I've been trying to learn my new camera. Here are a few of my many shots from the other day. I don't think any pictures could not come out gorgeous with the model I had. She was so happy too. I get to hold her everyday. Now this IS heaven! Enjoy!

Baby Blessing

It was wonderful to be able to get together with family for Elayna's blessing. Elayna is lucky enough to have a cousin only one month older. So we blessed them on the same day. Blake's parents were able to come into town for the blessings. It is so wonderful to share our baby with family. Lots of love all around!

Finally here she is. Better late than never! Here she is our beautiful little girl. She is such a joy to our lives. I have always heard you didn't know your heart could get so big but it is sooo true. She lights up our world. I love to see her laugh and play with her daddy. She is growing everyday. I love being a mom and everything that goes with it!!

I was talking to friend today and she scolded me about never updating my blog. I told her that I would but i'm never on my comp to blog. That I wish I could from my iPhone. She told me that there was a application. I was shocked. I said I would love that. So I found the app. So here it goes! You will definately be hearing more about me. I miss everyone like crazy!

New Obsession!

I jsut wanted to let you know what my new obsession is. I am in love with OPI and their new colors. Its a little sense of luxury I can give myself. I can do dishes and it doesn't chip off. LOVE IT!

California Lovin'

Fun times, Friends and Sunshine! Last week I got to go back to Cali to visit some great friends. I had such a blast with everyone. It felt like I never left. I was able to spend lots of time with everyone. It felt great to cook and be creative with Katie. Lots of hugs and bead stringing with my little friend Esther. Card making with Erin. Lots of fun shopping with Katie and Brooke. I had such a great time. Oh yeah lets not forget a great girl's night in with lots of laughs and good food. Big props to Stephanie for all the entertainment.I want to say thanks to everyone who came it was great to see you. It was all amazing. Lots of hugs from Douglas and Rosmery. Gracias por todo te amo mucho. The best ending to it all was shopping and lunch with my girls. What more could I ask for. I can't wait till next time. I miss and love everyone so much.

Family Time

Wow, it has been forever since I blogged. I have been pretty busy lately. I was able to go back to KC for a couple of weeks and got to spend time with my family and friends. Fun girls night out to crazy times and the Omaha zoo. Not to forgot great spanish food (Thanks Mom!) I was also able to be there for my mothers special event. My mother's husband and his daughter came from Dominican Republic and we had a little celebration in that honor. It was great to be home again.

Rockies!

This weekend we got to go to the Rockies game. It was our first since we moved to Colorado. I guess this means we are offical. We had a great time with our new friends. The funny thing is the two rows by us happen to be full of members. Some of the guys from our sales team new them. Who knew there would be so many members at the game in Colorado. The weather was gorgeous and we had a blast!

New Bedding!

As those of you who know me know I am really into interior design. One thing is I have had tons of challenges on my bedroom. It is always last on my list to do. I always feel like its a big challenge but I finally got it all worked out. I think. I made these curtains and headboard a couple of years ago and had the hardest time getting my color scheme to work. This is the solution I came up with. I love it. Also my first big sewing project that wasn't a skirt or apron. Which I love to make. I made the bed skirt. Crazy huh. I couldn't believe it either. I had to make it because the stores did not carry one long enough for my new lifted bed (for storage I had to get the risers). This is only the beginning to my design firm.

California!!

This is such a new and emotional time in my life. I am so torn by my heart and my head. Life has been so great. I have been able to meet so many wonderful people in my path. Being such a New Yorker I would have never guess in years that I would leave a part of my heart so far way in Cali. I have met so many wonderful friends that have taken a part of me. My heart is full in so many ways. I am so greatful for being able to meet such wonderful friends. I must wipe my tears yet once again and look forward into the horizon for the new adventures yet to come. I just to let everyone know what kind of a mark they have left on me. Katie, your such a great friend and I love your family so much. I am so happy I have made a lifetime friend. There are so many to mention Brooke your my girl! I wish so many good things for you and your family. Thanks for being my friend even though it went against the rules. I have so many wonderful memories and learn so many new things. Katie thanks for always believing in me. You were that little push I always needed. Before I use all my tissues I will close this. All I can say is "Happy cows come from California!" Love you all!!!

Happy Birthday!!

Yesterday was our birthday! It was such a great day. I have such great friends and family. Yajaira I love you and sorry we weren't together for our special day. I wish you all the best. To all my friends and family thank you for making it such a special day. I love you!!

Lizzy & Brad

My sister-in-law Lizzy was married last week in the Bountiful Temple. We were able to be there for the beautiful wedding. She made such a beautiful bride. We wish them the best. Lizzy we love you! Brad welcome to the family!

Roundy!!!

Also in my travels in the last couple of weeks I was able to go to Vegas to visit my sister in law for a couple of days. But the best of it was when I was able to spend the day with a great long lost friend. Roundy! She served her mission Missouri and I was able to spend a lot of time with her . She has made such an impression on me she always makes me feel wonderful. I just love you so much. I am so glad we met up. It was great to spend the day with you and your family. Taj baby your the cutest. Cathy I love your beautiful spunky personality. I am so sad we don't live closer to each other, but remember if you ever need to get a little vaca hit me up here in Cali.

NYC Baby!!

I finally got to go home a couple of weeks ago. I met up with my sister and got to spend time with my wonderful family for an entire week. We had a great time shopping and eating great Dominican food. Not to mention hitting some hot spots and kicking it in the Heights. I love my family. It always good to go back to your roots. Next time it won't be so long before I go back.

Chillin on Times Square after dinner at Carmines. The wait was definitely worth it. Had a great time with family and friends. But don't worry it wasn't over the night was still young!!

Cheesecake Factory! What could be better than my favorite place to eat with family in NYC! We had such a good time laughing and reminiscing. Gotta love the chicken costelleta my fav.

With Mellisa and Yajaira in the subway on the way downtown for a day of more shopping and fun. Sucks that we walked all day and never found that beautiful puma bag. But one good thing came out of it. Finding Blake his dumb atomic ball in a little toy shop off Broadway. Love you Mel thanks for spending the day with us. Keep your eyes open for the purse!!




Feliz Cumpleanos Tia!! Lucky enough to be in town for my aunt's b-day. We spent a great day together. Shopping in Manhattan eating at the Casa de Mofongo and going to Hibachi grill. Don't forget the best Dominican cake I have ever had. Love you Tia!!
